Dentist in St. Albans
With cosmetic dentistry, no two treatments are ever the same. Prior to cosmetic treatment, your dentist in St. Albans will carefully examine your mouth to establish a baseline for your custom treatment. For patients interested in making over their smile, one of the most conservative treatment options is with porcelain dental veneers. With veneers, an ultra-thin sheet of porcelain is bonded sturdily to the treated fronts of your teeth, like a new façade for your smile. Highly customizable in shade, shape, and proportion, veneers can be used to touch up minor chips, spacing, worn down teeth, or major discolorations, unresponsive to traditional whitening methods. Whatever your treatment goals, porcelain veneers allow you to retain a maximal amount of healthy tooth structure when compared to more extensive restorative options. And because veneers are fabricated with the highest dental grade porcelain resins, they achieve a stunning realism, and are highly resistant to staining. With proper care, veneers provide an excellent, long lasting solution for enhancing the beauty of your smile.
It’s truly remarkable what your dentist in St. Albans can do for your appearance! Whether you’re considering a smile makeover with porcelain dental veneers, prescription strength whitening under the supervision of a professional, or one of the many fabulous cosmetic options offered at Albee Dental, give a call to Dr. Garczynski to discuss your best options today!

St. Albans Dentist
If you are interested in keeping your teeth and gums healthy the most important thing you can do is to come in to our dental office for periodic oral exams. Oral exams will not only make sure that your teeth are healthy, but they will also make sure that your entire mouth is healthy – including your gums. If you would like to see our St. Albans dentist make an appointment to visit our well regarded dental practice, Albee Dental Care.
Albee Dental Care was founded by our St. Albans dentist, Dr. Douglas Garczynski. He has been providing exemplary and affordable dental care to our Jamaica residents, and the surrounding community, for more than 25 years. Even with the many advances in dental care the most important tool for preventive dental care is oral exams that are provided at our dental practice. Oral exams are not only important in keeping your teeth and gums healthy – they are also cost-effective. This is because it is much easier to treat a dental problem when it is in the early stages rather than wait until more involved treatment is needed.
Patients having oral exams will have their entire mouth thoroughly reviewed for any oral health problems. You will first have a full series of x-rays taken to make sure that you do not have any developing cavities between teeth, or any problems developing below the gum line. Our St. Albans dentist will then carefully visually examine your teeth. He will check to make sure there are no marks indicating that you are grinding your teeth at night or have problems with TMJ. Our dentist will also thoroughly screen your mouth for any signs of oral cancer. Your bite will be checked to make sure that no bite problems developing, and your jaw alignment will be reviewed as well. The health of your gums will also be reviewed. If it is determined that you have gingivitis, a precursor to gum disease, our dentist will most likely recommend that you have several dental cleanings over the next few months to restore your gums to great health. If you have developed deep pockets between your teeth and gums, you will be diagnosed with gum disease. You will most likely need a periodontal treatment of scaling and root planing to restore your gums to their original state of good health.
